In the Psi Corps headquarters on Mars, Bester interrogates a telepath for information on an underground railroad trafficking rogue telepaths out of Psi Corps' influence. Discovering that one of the stopovers is Babylon 5, Bester travels there and soon after an attempt is made on his life. Talia is also captured, and Sheridan is shocked to discover that Franklin is the one harbouring the telepaths. They try to convince Talia to rebel against Psi Corps, and when Bester closes in on their hideout they use their combined powers to plant images in his mind of having killed them all in a fight. Meanwhile, Sheridan is having to cope with both Earthforce wanting to move him to smaller quarters, and a dinner date with Delenn as she attempts to come to terms with human concepts such as humour.
Notes: Franklin's involvement with the underground telepath railroad (which had been going on since before he arrived on Babylon 5) is recalled later (Grey 17 is Missing). It is possible that Ironheart's gift to Talia (see Mind War) included stronger telepathic abilities to shield/deceive more powerful telepaths (such as Bester)? Sheridan's relationship with Delenn begins to evolve here.
How many Minbari does it take to screw in a light bulb?
None - they always surrender right before they finish the job and never tell you
why.
